After requests for a smaller bladed version of my full size Njörd 200 I’ve now added this the Njörd 105 to my list of standard designs.
The Njörd was based off the Scandinavian Leuku, which is a traditional outdoor/hunting utility knife that originates from Lapland, Scandinavia. The large handle is ideal for those environments where you may have thick gloves or mittens on so a large handle to get purchase on is ideal. This is scaled down from my original Njörd 200 to excel as an all round outdoor utility knife. This is the Drop Point version so really is a great tough bushcraft knife!
The steel on this one is AEB-L stainless steel.
Handled in some really classy stabilised Curly Mango with black neon green liners.
The large contoured handle also helps with making sure the knife is locked into your hand no matter what.
The has a convex grind for maximum edge durability and blade strength for the tougher jobs and a stonewash finish on the blade.
Comes with a right hand dark brown leather sheath. Left hand sheaths available.
